The BFVA Butterfly Valve Actuator is specially designed for reliable and precise control of butterfly valves used in various HVAC systems and equipment. It is compatible with Fluxera BFV butterfly valves as well as suitable butterfly valves from other brands. The actuator features an ISO 5211 compliant flange, making connection to the butterfly valve quick, simple, and secure. Its integrated turbine and output shaft design eliminates the gap associated with conventional key connections, while the special brass alloy construction provides high strength, excellent wear resistance, high transmission accuracy, and self-locking performance.
For added convenience and reliability, the BFVA actuator can be operated manually using the attached hex wrench in the event of a power failure. The holder, coupling, and screws are made from stainless steel, providing excellent resistance to water and rust while eliminating the need for regular refueling or maintenance. A tempered-glass mechanical position indicator provides clear visual indication of the valve position. The actuator is housed in a state-of-the-art die-cast aluminum enclosure, designed to help reduce electromagnetic interference and provide robust protection in demanding HVAC environments.
Safety and operational reliability are further enhanced through an AC 1800V voltage withstand test, a Class F insulated motor, and an independent wiring compartment. The actuator incorporates heat and overload protection along with dual electrical and mechanical limit protection to help prevent damage during operation. A condensation protection system with heating and dehumidification helps reduce the risk of electrical failures caused by moisture. With a high IP67 protection rating, the BFVA Butterfly Valve Actuator provides dependable performance and durable protection for HVAC valve control applications.
